Smoking a mix of Winchester, PS cube and match ready rub. I like the flavor of the ready rub, but it dissapears out of pipe too fast and doesn't have enough oomph. Pipe? Oscar 513, Lucite stem. Shank loving repaired with superglue (ebay lot purchase) pipe smokes like a dream, but have never been able to clean the inside of the semi-transparent stem.

Drinking beer, hiding on the back porch and letting the wife deal with trick or treaters.

I’m smoking Dorchester in a Stanwell Royal Guard 29 and sipping Blanton’s bourbon. A light drizzle has kept me from yard work today and forced me to watch college football, but I’m not complaining. Cheers!

I'm not far from being half way through this bowl of Ken Byron Ventures Orphan Mixture beta test in a 1980s White Pipe straight, smooth octagonal paneled billiard meerschaum with an acrylic yellow cream colored saddle stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. Watching the Braves-Astros game, and wondering if Snitker regrets the dumb idea to start Dylan Lee. I told m'lady the guy wouldn't get out of the first inning before the first pitch was thrown, and I was right.

A walk through the forest and a smoke, what a delightful combination on a crisp fall evening! C&D Star Of The East Flake in a Savinelli Miele 611 KS Bent Dublin. Bird report: California scrub-jay, Mountain chickadee, Dark-eyed junco, Northern flicker, Common raven, and California quail. Chicken/pinto bean/Spanish rice mix for dinner w/the wife, and movie afterwards, probably Casino (it's the romantic thing to do). Braves better string together some runs, dammit!
