Mick McQuaid Plug in a Meer. Tobacco provided by @condorlover1 at last weeks meet. Sliced then cube cut. I had no idea if this had Lakeland or what do I dug out a small Indian had meer to smoke it in. Pleasantly surprised! Quite fruity sweet with a mild liquor typing of some kind. Creamy mouth feel, must be some Burley in this as I detected some nutty tones as well. I may very well buy some more of this. Thanks Simon.

Sadly Mark they stopped making the stuff a few years ago, I believe you can buy the cube cut but the plug is a regular unicorn these days!

Now smoking Ken Byron Ventures The Dread Planet 2021 in a 2003 smooth three quarter bend Rinaldo Fiammata Odissea Titania 02 Silver Line 3 Straight Grain egg with a black acrylic tapered stem. This blend will be released in a limited batch at 4 a.m. EST and a larger release at 4 p.m. EST. Since I just got it today, I'm working hard on having the review sometime this evening. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Smoking today G.L. Pease Stonehenge in a MM Dagner.

It has some really interesting Lakeland like flavor(s) going on. I really recommend this one to the Lakeland fans! ?

At present I only have two briar pipes, my Radice Straight and my Dr. Grabow Commodore 65 Zulu. So for now, while I’m waiting on some other briar pipes to arrive, I’m rotating also through with my MM Cobs.

I’m hanging in their with my Cobs @Tar Wheel thinking of you, and this one goes out to you! :)

Be well everyone! ?

The Commodore is a brilliant Pipe, the finest that Grabow produced I believe and there’s nothing wrong with a cob regardless of what some say about them. I certainly believe that some blends are more suited to them so enjoy your tobacco the way you like it. Viva la Cob!!!

The last but one day of this thread before November arrives. I am currently finishing up a bowl of Grassmere in this small 'cutty' pipe before dinner. Today has been a whirl wind of activity involving the deeply trying task of buying new sandals, cleaning pipes and writing few letters to people. Tomorrow will be a day of nothing. The weather here in Florida has got decidedly chilly with daily temperatures averaging 72 so tomorrow I am going to sit in the conservatory and catch on my reading and smoke interesting plug tobacco.
