Really, I just wanted to post this to congratulate @jiminks on his Braves winning the National League pennant and avenging my Giants' defeat at the hands of the loathsome Dodgers. Should be a good World Series.

Looks like the reverse psychology didn’t work this time. Ha, it feels great to finally get past the Dodgers. Go Braves!!!

Indeed, it did not. But I'm rooting hard now for you guys to beat the Astros, hopefully sweep them. Just make sure to hide all your trash cans... Anyway, the victory in the series against the Giants is just as good as a World Series win. Maybe even better! (How's that for reverse psychology? But seriously, beating the Giants was a special treat, for sure.)

While my power was out, I smoked a bowl of year 2016 Orlik Golden Sliced in an early 20th century Gordon Special Bruyere 49 apple with a triangular shank and black vulcanite stem.


Then I ate a golden delicious apple, and have passed the half way mark on this bowl of Wilke No. 111 in a smooth medium bend 1938-1948 Peterson Shamrock Killarney 9BC with a nickel band and a black vulcanite p-lip stem. I finished another Archie Christmas story when the power came back on.

Half way through my last smoke of the day, which is Peretti Cuban Mixture in a 2016 straight smooth dark brown Peterson Sportsman 87 apple with a nickel cap military mount and a tapered black acrylic fishtail stem. Fed all the cats, and am reading while this bowl lasts.

I love the stuff… It’s a great change of pace from some standard style blends. If you like that, try Kings Stride - different, but really pretty nice, also.
