Storms knocked out our cable, internet, and phone today. Just got back online. Here's what I smoked today:
Circa year 2000 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style.

Sutliff Prince Andrew in an undated slight bent rusticated brown with a darker fumed top unbranded Micoli billiard with a white accented perpex ferrule, off center square shank and black vulcanite stem in the military mount style.

KBV Yoshimi’s Smorely La King Beta Test in an undated, unbranded straight smooth medium brown made in France Los Alton VBF Canadian with a tapered black vulcanite stem.

KBV Burrrrley Morning Pipe Fall/Winter Edition Beta Test in an undated, unbranded, slight bend smooth darker brown made in France Los Alton VBF zulu with a black vulcanite saddle stem.

Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth straight late ‘50s, early 1960s Lane era Charatan Selected 43 Dublin with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad.

Wilke No. 911 in a black pebble finish straight 2003 Cavicchi C. Fatto A Mano lovat with a black acrylic saddle stem.

And I'm not far from finishing this bowl of year 2012 Rolando’s Own in a smooth straight early ‘60s Lane era “William Conrad” Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. Have enough left for a bowl or two.

Just found out today that the body found in the river near Lidl in Chesterfield was that of Paul, the homeless man I used to share my food & drinks with:
I even gave him a clay pipe and a bit of Captain Black; I'm glad he finished his baccy and the snack bars I gave him before his death.
I would have been really upset and traumatised if I'd found his body during my river clean-up work, especially as I'd got to know him.
I find it fitting this former seaman (he used to work on Carnival cruise ships) has met a watery grave.
At least he got to smoke all his Captain Black...
(Again appropriate choice of baccy):)
RIP Paul, gone but not forgotten.
Going swimming tomorrow; not smoking anything until Sunday now!
