Brunello Flake in my Strambach meer (straight billiard). Not sure what I think of this blend. I just opened the tin last night so this is my first time trying it. I like the citrus zest notes, but the other qualities I like in Virginia's seem to be muted by the Orientals. Maybe that's the intention? Overall it seemed a little bland, but maybe it's because it's my first bowl from a new tin. I'll jar it up for a couple of months and then revisit it. Maybe my expectations clouded what the blend is trying to do.

Almost half way through this bowl of circa year 2000 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Up early again.

I’ve been neglectful of this thread ... though it would have been boring to everyone here, I think, if I’d been posting two or three times each of the last five days “I’m smoking Peter Stokkebye Amsterdam No. 83 in a Stanwell (somethingorother) 86,” which has been the case, including earlier this morning. This afternoon, though, I’ve got some free time, and got the urge to pop open one of these:
