Just past the half way mark on this bowl of year 2012 Rolando’s Own in a smooth straight early ‘60s Lane era “William Conrad” Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. Starting to run low on this eight ounce tin, and am thinking about what the next blend I'll smoke in this pipe will be. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Jim please forgive me, but what is bergs? ?

Enjoying some Virginia/Burley in the Hardcastle's Bullcap. After yesterdays ridiculous 35c+ temperature thunderstorms brought with them much cooler air today....bliss!!

Smoking Mixture 79 in a Medico Brylon. Black coffee with bergs is what I'm drinking.

Bergs = ice cubes Jim says his come from Antarctica, mine are just regular cubes.
And we still have a ready supply of the ones recovered from that dastardly attack on the Titanic. Vintage bergs are cool, and you can't get them on eBay.

Almost 2400 posts into October on this thread, and feel this post is a waste of my one finger pecking on my iPad...because, who really cares? (other than me)...
BUT... a strange, pedestrian combo tonight just turned into magic. A Falcon with Genoa bowl, no dry ring, with Epiphany, on my patio this evening, on a cool, low breeze night. Hit EVERY note, and that was nice. ?

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, trout and sugar snap peas dinner with orange slices and pineapple for dessert. I'm half way through this bowl of year 2005 Sam Gawith Kendall Plug in a slight bend 1968 group 4S Dunhill Shell 475 cherrywood with a black vulcanite tapered stem. Community Coffee is brewing. Getting ready to clean a few pipes.

Just finished a bowl of Boswell's No Bite Delight in a basket pipe that I decided to rusticate last weekend. Turned out nicely!
Nice work! And: Welcome to the forum!
