I was in a disputatious mood, as I smoked my 25 year old Ropp Cherrywood 1/4 bent pipe, filled with the last of a 2014 tin of McClelland's Yenidje Highlander, during our Thursday evening Chicago "Buds" ZOOM. Great meeting; fabulous smoke.

Not far from finishing this bowl of G&H Kendall Kentucky in a medium bend egg 2017 Royal Meerschaum Dragon meer with a black and cream swirl amber colored acrylic tapered stem. Taking a short work break.
Did some snacking, and am now smoking AcesFour’s VaBur in the third pipe I ever bought ($1.95), a 1974 smooth straight French briar Hadley apple with a black vulcanite tapered stem.
Starting off with some SG FVP in a dainty little Savinelli Porto Cervo..
Having some Gawith, Hoggarth, and Co Sweet Maple Twist in a Peterson K and P small bent billiard. This is my first time smoking any of the Gawith ropes, and it's absolutely delicious! Full bodied and slightly sweet. Love it.
Tasty stuff! I picked up all of Ken's halloween blends and this is the one I keep coming back to. Glad I got two bags of it.
I’m currently on my 5th bowl of Tordenskjold Virginia Slices. This is a new to me pick up and I am certainly glad I got it. I believe this will become a cellar worthy blend for me.
I checked the TobaccoReviews on that and it sounds like it would be one I would enjoy. But I’m not that good with ropes after trying Irish Twist rope, couldn’t get it burning quite right to enjoy it. Maybe I’ll revisit ropes in the future
I cut off about three dime sized coins (well, not very cleanly, more like I hacked off three dime sized poorly cut chunks), rubbed them out pretty fully, then let it dry for about 2 hrs in AZ bone dry air. It was pretty dry. Not quite perfect VA flake level dry, but pretty dry to the touch. It burned pretty well, with an average number of relights.

Almost a third of the way through this bowl of Uhle’s 00 in a smooth medium bend 2002 Peterson Sherlock Holmes Series Milverton with a sterling silver band and a black vulcanite p-lip stem.
Beautiful pipe and what a grand tobacco to pair it with.
I’m also smoking St. Bruno RR in a Stanwell BB Lovat
Last smoke of the day is Wilke No. 515 in a 1998 smooth straight Butz-Choquin Bistro 1501 pot with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Reading while this bowl lasts.
