Part way through this bowl of Peretti 150th Anniversary in an undated straight sandblasted black Ropp Crystal billiard with a clear acrylic perspex saddle stem. I always wanted this model, and finally have one. I'm lucky to get it unsmoked as well. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

A quarter of the way through this bowl of Watch City Burley Prototype in an undated quarter bend lattice calabash Royal Meerschaum Dragon meer with a black, gold and cream swirl amber colored acrylic tapered stem. This is one of six unsmoked meers I got in the collection. Community Coffee is brewing.

During our Thursday evening Pipe Klatch ZOOM, I popped a tin of 2004 McClelland's Anniversary Pipe Tobacco (a gift from Mike).
Just Wow! A very dark, unbelievably fragrant Virginia/Latakia mixture. I stuffed some into my Pre-Trans Barling's YOW smooth 409 pot, and enjoyed an incredibly mellow, sweet, full and satisfying smoke. Again, Wow!

Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and am a third of the way through this bowl of Wilke Lizzie Blood Virginia in a straight 1960s Lane era Charatan black with burgundy undertone sandblasted billiard 420 with a black vulcanite tapered stem.

Just finished smoking Wilke Crystal Palace in a 1990 Peterson Irish Second Oom Paul natural with a tapered black vulcanite fish tail stem.
Last smoke of the day is D&R Raccoon’s Accent in a 1977 smooth Rubino (Lorenzo) Oom Paul with a tapered black vulcanite stem. This was the first Oom Paul I bought, and until recent years, was heavily smoked. I thought I'd put it back in action for a while and relive some good times with an old friend.
I'll have to try aging it a little. So far I go through the tins of it so quickly that none of it has chance to meet a jar.
But if a few months makes a difference, I'll grab an extra tin to hide away next payday.
The mix I've been smoking this week has been consistently delicious in all kinds of pipes.
I took about a handful of TwoTimer and added the approx equivalent in weight of 3 Sails, then about a half a handful of Ramback Balkan.
The notes of each are harmonious with the other. Total amount was approx 2-3 oz.
I just had a bowl in my Grabow Westbrook wire brush rusticated straight apple, on a rather dramatic neighborhood 'lunt' during which I met a new neighbor who was drunk and lost his way. I guided him safely back to his building. It was a perilous journey (for him...he fell down twice)...and it's still only 5:13 a.m. here.
