Had a rare Sunday night pipe. I grabbed a new tin of Escudo just for the heck of it. I haven’t smoked a fresh tin in years. While I was smoking it I kept wondering why I don’t smoke Escudo more often. What an outstanding tobacco. Burned flawlessly with the signature VaPer sweet/spice. But what really surprised me was the creaminess of the smoke. The last time I smoked Escudo, it was an aged tin (about 7 years) and the Perique was almost too strong. I’m glad I tried a new tin.

I don't normal come here but... tonight after sampling my new medicine a small thc pill I had a bowl of Key Largo in my falcon international with the meer lined snifter bowl. It was perfect though. The weather was just chilly enough to have a calming effect on the night. The moon is nearly full. So walked around the woods a bit just thinking about stuff and thinking too that I smoke this one perfectly as a rare occasion smoke. It is too good to do every week. Like most blends with a bunch of leaf types no two smokes or puffs are the same but with this one they're all great. Sometimes it taste like cream and coffee sometimes like a great little light colored cigar sometimes like smoking that cigar while drinking good Cuban style espresso. Sometimes it just tastes like really good tobacco. It was super peaceful except for one little dog that seemed friendly but excitable. And got tomorrow off so I'll smoke the meer then.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, orange roughy and asparagus dinner with orange and pineapple slices for dessert. I'm almost half way through this bowl of year 2012 Rolando’s Own in a smooth straight early ‘60s Lane era “William Conrad” Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. Watching an episode of The Saint directed by and starring Roger Moore. Donald Sutherland is in this episode, too.
