Jim, Happy Birthday!
Just a quick note to say thank you for all the years you’ve put into the forum and for your reviews. They’ve genuinely helped a lot of us (myself included) navigate blends and avoid the duds.
Wishing you good health, great tobacco in the bowl, and everything going your way.
All the best,
Benedict Munsinger

Jim, I am continuously amazed at how your diet works for you. I looked at this post and it began with:
"Lunch: an entire chicken stuffed with toasted pine nuts and Mediterranean spices with two slices of pecan pie and a small bowl of vanilla bean ice cream for dessert." In college, I played basketball with a fella out of Birmingham, Alabama who, at a banquet ate a whole chicken plus the trimmings. Of course, he was 6'7" and weighed 250 lbs. and ran it all off in practice..... But, somehow it works for you and I am thrilled.
I have already wished you a happy Birthday but I am so glad that you had a good one. Chicken and all!!

Adding my best wishes for a healthy, happy, smoky birthday to JimInks! With lots of chicken:

Relaxing after a wonderful roasted duck and roasted potatoes dinner with a slice pf pecan pie and a small bowl of vanilla bean ice cream for dessert. Yes, I ate the entire duck. Elmer Fudd got it for me. :) I'm half way through this bowl of Ken Byron Ventures Jim’s Special Flake 2022 in a black rusticated full bend 1984 Peterson Mark Twain military mount egg with a silver cap and tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

M'lady and her friend made me this birthday card.

Fried up some brats tonight and served them with leftover delicata squash, the rest of the stuffing/gravy and a side of pomegranate salad. A couple pieces of baklava and a short shot of espresso for dessert. Carbaliciousness. Tis the season.

Time to kick back and let it all settle with a bowl of Brunello Flake in an Albin panel until the food coma sets in.

A third of a bowl left of Ken Byron Ventures Mr. Christian’s Brown Flek 2021 in a smooth brown full bend 1984 Peterson Mark Twain military mount egg with a silver cap and tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. Enjoyed smoking Mark Twain pipes on his and my birthday. Had a long chat with an old friend who I haven't spoken to in a couple of years. He remembered my birthday.
