Last bowl of the month was a first-time try of Sutliff Maple Shadows (many thanks to @Questionable Source for the sample!) in my aromatic pipe, a Savinelli Miele 641 KS smooth bent apple. All I can say is...hot damn! Eager to revisit this one already. 9.5/10

My final smoke of November is a revisiting of Sun Bear Navy Cask in my new Rossi Rhodesian. I jarred up my tin over the summer cause I sort of burnt out on it but now it's much more enjoyable and I'm finding more nuance than I missed over the summer. Sometimes that's just how it goes. Bummed the long weekend is over but the holiday season is just beginning! Cheers to a good weekend everyone.

I've always had a high energy level and burn off calories as a result. On my diet days, you'd been shocked to see how little I eat so when I go off my diet, there are no rules, no calorie counting... just eating.Jim, I am continuously amazed at how your diet works for you. I looked at this post and it began with:
"Lunch: an entire chicken stuffed with toasted pine nuts and Mediterranean spices with two slices of pecan pie and a small bowl of vanilla bean ice cream for dessert." In college, I played basketball with a fella out of Birmingham, Alabama who, at a banquet ate a whole chicken plus the trimmings. Of course, he was 6'7" and weighed 250 lbs. and ran it all off in practice..... But, somehow it works for you and I am thrilled.
I have already wished you a happy Birthday but I am so glad that you had a good one. Chicken and all!!
