Had a ROUGH week at work... I fell off the wagon back to the hard stuff... don't tell my gf (not lying, she knows I still dabble, just doesn't approve, lol)

Hope I'm still loved/wanted here haha.. I tried to make it classy and included my decade+ old P&C Bjarne Viking (before it was just Viking) brand Rustic Rhodesian in the photo for legal reasons 😂

Fwiw these sticks are a delightful Turkish blend. They and the filter golds are the 2 blends that most remind me of a pipe.. I even sometimes only retrohale them every few drags. Maybe I should claim the Bill Clinton excuse... 😆

Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and am near the quarter mark of this bowl of year 2014 Esoterica Tilbury in a straight smooth Danish gold straight grain undated W.O. Larsen Hand Made in Denmark dublin with a tapered black vulcanite stem. This pipe is from the estate of David Cuneo. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Norton the Nosey is busy batting things around the den. Going to check on the ferals soon.

Now smoking year 2018 D&R Raccoon’s Accent in a pre-WWII straight smooth brown The Lumberman Special (Comoy’s) with a tapered black vulcanite saddle stem. The ferals came in, ate, and left. When I let Tomato the Brave out, Harry the Hairy was at the door. Tomato hissed Harry and took a swipe at him before I pushed him away. Daisy the Feral Princess came back in a couple of minutes ago, nibbled lightly, and went out again. Norton the Nosey is snoozin' near my feet. Sleepy Suzy is by my side. Molly Danger is with m'lady in the bed room.

When I need a quick smoke on the go, I reach for Chapman Gold Eclipse Noire by Von Eicken. It’s a blend of quality Virginia and Burley enriched with a bit of Caribbean cigar leaf — no flavorings, no gimmicks, just straightforward tobacco. Most modern cigarettes, by contrast, taste like straw mixed with questionable additives and soaked in nicotine.
That’s my honest, personal assessment.

Near the first quarter of the last of this eight ounce tin of year 2012 Anniversary Kake in a smooth burgundy medium bend 1979 Chippendale (Charatan second) Rhodesian 49 with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Smokes as well as a first and worth the $19.95 I paid for it all those years ago. I've got many more tins of this blend. Daisy the Feral Princess wanted back in again, ate, and is near my feet. Norton the Nosey moved to the couch.

Just had to try something from this sampler: Drew Estate Blackened M81 Maduro. Apparently, it's a collab between James Hetfield (of ⚡Metallica⚡) and Drew Estate. It's actually really good, lusciously dark and rich, and I would recommend to any Maduro fans out there.

Pepsi with a splash of Rittenhouse Rye. 🥃

A quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2013 Capstan Blue Flake in a straight black 1963 Dunhill LB Shell 4S billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem. I'll try to end the day with this smoke. Daisy the Feral Princess woke up and was staring at me. I thought she wanted some wet food, but she didn't. She wanted me to love on her, so I got on the floor, gave her rubs and scratches, and then did a little rope play with her. She's not as active as Tomato the Brave or Norton the Nosey as she's older and fatter, but we had fun together. She nibbled at my hand and arm several times. When she had teeth, she bit hard, but not now, so I let her do what she wanted. After all of that, she got a little wet food, and then wanted out. Norton the Nosey is walking around the house trying to figure out how to have a little fun.

I’ve already picked out my pipe—Mario Pascucci P Rust 2127—and the RMC package has arrived—and now my hands are itching to open all the tins at once. I’m sitting here, staring at this tobacco treasure trove, and can’t decide which blend to start with.

😂My mood is one of reflection and a touch of pensiveness.

Now that IS quite the dilemma. That sounds like a proper three-pipe problem! :sher: Except you'll need to make the decision first, in order to smoke the bowls, to help you decide! It's a recursive dilemma of epic proportions. 🤯
