I was wondering the same.Do you attribute the ease to the type of flake or the pipe?
Probably the pipe.
The chamber is by far the most conical bowl I own.
Perhaps that’s a major factor?
Not sure.

Tim, that is a good looking pipe. I love that bowl.On a perfect Fall afternoon, Peretti Ampersand Flake (&) in a large-bowled (half-filled) Santambrogio. This. Is. Excellent. It smokes so easily. Such a pleasant retro.

I half-filled this larger Santambrogio because I don't have a wide/shallow-bowled pipe (yet). I'm thinking about making one

Thanks Jim.My hours vary. Generally, if I get five hours sleep, I'm fine. That doesn't always happen. I seldom take naps. I never needed eight to ten hours sleep a night in my life. I'm just used to being this way. I know what your lady is going through. I have a couple of ideas about it if you want to phone chat.

Managed to find a less windy spot to smoke King’s Watch for the first time for the fifth bowl smoked in the Ege Bulldesian. Very fun lemon flavor! A bit light! Burns a little hot!

Thanks man! It's a fairly large bowl, with a long-ish stem. A fabulous smoker, super comfortable, but definitely not a clencher.Tim, that is a good looking pipe. I love that bowl.
