Now smoking some Cult Blood Red Moon in another themed pipe. This ones brief was the American South West and I think its a good representation.

Whoa, what a unique, beautiful pipe! 😻 The three main parts are so different from one another, but come together to form a thing of artistic beauty. (Love that stem -- just don't let @gord see it, ha ha) 😂

Relaxing after a wonderful small salad, big porterhouse steak and mashed potatoes dinner with a blueberry muffin and a small bowl of vanilla bean ice cream for dessert. I've passed the first third of this bowl of year 2012 Dunhill Flake in a straight smooth 1960 Dunhill DR 137 group 4 root briar canted dublin with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. The ferals ate fairly well earlier and then went out. They're not happy about Norton the Nosey being here because they don't want an interloper in their space. Sleepy Suzy and Molly Danger feel the same way. Even though Norton means well, it's almost the very scenario as when Abner the Eager was around. After a couple of years, Suzy was okay with Abner, but the others never were. If Norton stays around, I don't know if anything will change, especially in the short term because we don't plan on making him an indoor/outdoor cat like he apparently was used to being. If though he seems to want to go out, we're not letting do that. A cold winter may change the dynamic between the cats and it may not.

Odds and Ends driving home this afternoon, the time a charm for the Kaywoodie ThornIMG_6404.jpeg

Then turned around to head back, PD has a mess and I got to play in traffic with Derringer in the Kaywoodie 51S. Sweeping intersections in rush hour traffic is always interesting.

Now fueling up to head home, again.

Had a bit of a stripped down band practice but we changed something in an instrumental that we've been working on that really clicks.

Breakthroughs call for a pipe of Carolina Red Flake with Perique in a brand new Savinelli Oceano Billiard. I was initially attracted to it because of the striking stem with a natural grain. So far it's a great Virginia pipe which bodes well.

A quarter of a bowl left of year 2013 Capstan Blue Flake in a straight 1924 Dunhill’s “Shell Briar” patent pot 7 with a tapered black vulcanite stem.

Sleepy Suzy had finished eating when Norton the Nosey went to the kitchen. Sometimes, he goes there whether he's hungry or not when another cat is there for some reason. Anyway, Suzy saw him, and got into a box that I had saved from destruction earlier today because m'lady wanted to use it to carry stuff out tomorrow. I came in, saw her looking a little pitiful, but proud, and took this photo of her. Check out where her front paw is.
