It's similar to Millennium as I recall. It's different than 1776 which has a little vanilla in it.I’m not sure if this is the right place to post, but @JimInks I saw you were the only 1 of 2 reviewers on this blend, I just bought it off pipestud and based off the description of orange and matured red, how similar is it to millenium and boston 1776?
interesting! That is really good to know! Is the vanilla the toping or casing? Do you know what millenium has been topped/cased with? Thanks so much for this info! It's similar to Millennium as I recall. It's different than 1776 which has a little vanilla in it.
I will agree that Larry has a knack for creating just the right balance. Not only in the weight of the pipe itself but something about how the draw comes through the tobacco in the bowl. I noticed on the very first smoke of my poker.Cornell and Diehl River Boat Gambler in this Larry Roush Poker / Billiard. It's one of my best smoking pipes no matter what you call it.View attachment 427784
I believe the vanilla was a topping on 1776 though it was mild. I could be wrong because a lot of years have passed since I smoked Millennium, but I don't remember a topping on it, and I don't believe there was one. Casing seemed to be citrus, but don't take that as gospel.interesting! That is really good to know! Is the vanilla the toping or casing? Do you know what millenium has been topped/cased with? Haven’t tried G.L. Pease Windjammer yet — somehow I’ve always passed it by. The blend looks pretty intriguing though, with Virginias, Burleys, Cavendish, and a touch of Perique with rum. Maybe it’s time to give it a try.G.L. Pease Windjammer in a Peterson 109.
