Earlier it was a Watch City head to head English shootout of English Earnie-Ental and Persian Slipper from the WCC English Sampler. A big fan of all the WCC Virginia based blends so time to explore more of their English blends.

I'm a big fan of Terrapin Station and not just because of the name.

Hi all! I'm not far from finishing this bowl of Sutliff Pipe Force Episode VI in a 1986 three quarter bend Bacchus face CAO meer with a tapered dark tortoise shell colored acrylic stem. I'm almost through my final edit of the review, which I'll post here soon. I got more done in a shorter time span than I expected, but there's more to do, so I'll be in and out for a couple more days.

Trying out some Plum Pudding Special Reserve from 2017 in a Musico. This never did it for me for whatever reason, but I have 8oz of it, 3/4 of which is sealed and uncut, so I figure I should get around to smoking it, and eventually see how those aged cakes are doing. I'm smoking out of a 2 oz jar of rubbed out/torn cake. I'll try slicing those other 6 ounces of cakes into flakes one of these days. It's not bad. Probably would be better with some Five Brothers, methinks. I like Fusilier's Ration better and found this to be in a similar vein. (I bought a pound of Fusilier's way back, but don't smoke it that often anymore.) I've never tried Bengal Slices. Same shit, different pile?

Have been down and out a few days. Looks like still a few more. Got clobbered with sinus infection, strep throat, and a violent cough. Sure somethin going around. Even THINKIN about smoking makes me cough. I gather you are sick too @Birddog66 . Here's hoping we all get over this nasty crap soon. See y'all on the flipside.
I hope you get to feeling better soon.

Was watching The Pacific for the first time this weekend, some pipe smoking shots from that series. Took the dog for a walk earlier, had a bowl of SPC's Deception Pass in a lumberman.
Great series. I followed that one up with Band of Brothers. I've lost count as to how many times I've seen Band of Brothers. If you haven't watched it yet, All is Quiet on the Western Front is phenomenal.
