Relaxing after a wonderful salad, chicken legs and green beans dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm a third of the way through this bowl of year 2010 Amphora Original (Brown) in a full bend barley sandblast Peterson Anniversary 1898-2023 No. 172/330 302 brandy military mount with a silver band and a black vulcanite p-lip saddle stem. Going to work as soon as this bowl is smoked. See you folks tomorrow.

Earlier it was a Watch City head to head English shootout of English Earnie-Ental and Persian Slipper from the WCC English Sampler. A big fan of all the WCC Virginia based blends so time to explore more of their English blends.

I have Plum Pudding on my to buy list. Are just not a fan of the topping? Just curious. I get that everyone's miles will vary.
Actually it tastes very good, but it doesn't have a lot of balls for my liking. If I compare it to a lot of other Balkans, it's not my favourite. Fusilier's Ration has a stronger topping, which I like. I'm not averse to any toppings per se (except maybe whatever's on Haddo's Delight...but it ages well.) Abingdon has more complexity and more flavour. So does Charring Cross, Black House, Magnum Opus, Red Rapparee...I could go on. When the Plum Pudding was fresh I found it kind of dry, and not huge on flavour. Now with a good deal of age on it, I find it more flavourful. FWIW. YMMV.
