Have been down and out a few days. Looks like still a few more. Got clobbered with sinus infection, strep throat, and a violent cough. Sure somethin going around. Even THINKIN about smoking makes me cough. I gather you are sick too @Birddog66 . Here's hoping we all get over this nasty crap soon. See y'all on the flipside.
@Carol Get well soon!

Thanks @FoggyMorning it does smoke nice first go around. This one was on sale and I couldn’t pass it up. I wasn’t sure for a little bit after ordering it but when I opened it I was like “This isn’t going back!” Its my second Radice. The first is one I bought years ago. I seem to have an Italian obsession lately. They do have a flair for design.

Shlepping off to the US Post Office this morning to drop my first batch of Christmas cards into the mail and sundry other packages going off to different corners of the globe. My pipe de jour is this rather nice 'cutty' from the late 1860s with a slightly shortened amber stem. Note the manufacturer is from Belgium but the pipe was made for the 1867 trade fair in France. I would assume that date is correct but if anyone has a more accurate date please chime in. This morning I will be smoking Mick McQ plug and then after lunch I will progress to finishing up a tin of German manufactured Richmond pipe tobacco which seems to be reminiscent of Royal Yacht if such a thing is possible!

Starting off the day with Proper English in a recently acquired B10. Sandblasted Irish Harp. Seeing as how the world goes from Halloween to Christmas these days, I put my foot in the ground and call this my Thanksgiving Day pipe. The browns and reds scream turkey, gravy and cranberries to me.View attachment 262991
I love the B10 shape it’s just an elegant and intriguing design.
