Starting off my smoking day with a bowl of early 2000s Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Watching Mad Dog Russo. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Wilke 193 in a Stanwell pot with coffee.planning my day. There are no smokers in my circle of friends and associates, with that said this forum keeps me abreast of what pipe and tobacco’s are out there and real smoker’s differing opinions on blends that I haven’t tried or heard of. What type of pipes aficionado’s are collecting and just general information. This forum is a definite tool for me. Thank you Jim and all you contributors.View attachment 265091
Thanks for the kind words. I don't have any local pipe smoking friends either. I sure wish I did.

Edgeworth RR Match bulk that has been in a jar for 1 year, in the Pete Short Army Pot with coffee. Quite a rich smoke with good body. Easy to light and very very smooth and gentle and mild taste. I'm wanting a bit more from it though here at the beginning: a pinch of Three Sails or Royal Yacht? Sprinkle of C&D Mocha? hmm.. Will I feel the same by the end of the bowl?

Did a set of walking reps on this cold and windy day, and smoked a bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in an undated straight brush etched black Molina apple with a nickel band and a tapered black vulcanite stem. Gold Star Brazilian Bourbon Santos, neat, is my drink. Have enough for one more batch.

I’m trying to get over a cold at the moment, so pipes have been on the back-burner, but I did start a bowl of Bosun Cut Plug in a cob last night while I scraped ice off the car.

There’s no mistaking the blending house, and it’s good, but I didn’t get as much clove as I was hoping for. I’ve read that it’s subtle and easily lost if the tobacco gets dry. Looking forward to trying more of this as my senses recover!
