Some freshly cut Latakia Virginia Bright in my sawn-off hunter pipe, a cold pilsener to wash it down.
It's as good a smoke as it always was. Can't believe it took me so long to try this leaf straight.
My damn washing machine broke yesterday and flooded the bathroom and parts of the hallway, two days after I gave the whole place a good and thorough scrubbing.
Thankfully there was no other damage and the mess was quickly cleaned up. Still...
On a happier note, I recently got hooked on old pipe tobacco TV ads. Many of you have probably seen them on the tube back in the days. This one is probably my favorite, it definitely made me want to try some
St. Bruno. Just look how enthusiastic that guy handles his pipe.
And that dog is just precious.
Followed by this one.
That's a neat trick the old fox is pulling off, @Chasing Embers should try it out some time!
I also like how they all pack their pipes in those commercials, they don't give a shit!

Making a list of things to get done by Tuesday - it’s going to be fairly long and I’m not all that anxious to start any tasks so I figure a Peterson House pipe and some Storyteller’s Pipe The Holly King will get me close enough to the Iowa/Gopher game I won’t have to do much!

Did a set of walking reps, and smoked a bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in an undated straight brush etched black Molina apple with a nickel band and a tapered black vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Haha, I actually started that house pipe bowl a little over 1 1/2 hours ago and ……… got bored! It smokes great but I wanted to try something else before the game. IMP and some C&D Ghosts of Christmas Future. I tried some fresh out of the tin the other day and quit on it. After some air time and mixing a little fresh with some well dried the first 1/3 of the bowl I’m now enjoying in the Meer is so much better. It’s in the holiday rotation now!
