C&D Big n'Burley in a Nording Hunting Pipe Rusticated Fox (2013) with my first ever mug of Pu-erh tea. Enough members have mentioned it, so I decided to give it a try. I like it. Very earthy. I'm drinking it with nothing added and the tobacco is making it taste sweet.

Did a set of walking reps on this beautiful Fall day, and am close to finishing this bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in an undated straight brush etched black Molina apple with a nickel band and a tapered black vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Almost half way through the last of my stash of year 2018 Mac Baren Original Flake in a straight smooth dark brown 1918 Pre-Republic Peterson’s Dublin 2 apple with a silver band and a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem.

Nursing a mild but persistent hangover with some 2019 Escudo in my Peterson 80s bulldog, drinking some water now that my coffee is all gone. I packed the bowl last night, but don't remember exactly what method I used. Probably gently mashed up and stuffed...

It's rolling pretty well. This Peterson has a tendency to gurgle for me, so I'm focusing on taking small sips, visualizing just sipping the smoke that has accumulated in the bowl between puffs. I still have a ways to go in my "tasting Virginia nuances" journey, but I'm pleased that my technique has improved enough that true, lasting tongue bite is very rare now. puffy

John Cotton’s Smyrna first production run in a Jason Zeiner somethingorother. A really great smoking, thick-walled pipe. The Smyrna resurrection is one of Russ’s great achievements as a blender. William Serad praised it as a perfect recreation of what had been his favorite blend.

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am almost half way through this bowl of year 2020 D&R Raccoon’s Delight in my very reliable smooth straight post-1938 pre-Republic Peterson Sterling Canadian 263 with a sterling silver band and a black vulcanite p-lip stem. Lavazza Espresso, neat, is my drink. M'lady just ground the coffee beans. Great coffee at a cheap price at Costco.
