Taking a break from a Thursday home office day to smoke some more of the delicious Brown Sugar Flake in a small Stanwell Royal Guard 190 stamped Pfeifen Huber.

Starting my day with a dgt'ed bowl of Amphora Virginia in an elderly Whitehall acorn - the one I am smoking in my profile pic, to be precise.
Had a bowl of Hartwell's Evening Stroll yesterday . I had a memory of it from 10 or 15 years ago and I remember how thoroughly enchanted I was with this blend.
Well, it didn't let me down. It was even better than I remember. The smell out of the can, the smell of the smoke... an aromatic smoker's dream.
And a weird note ... I couldn't get this to bite my tongue even though I tried!

I smoked half of a C&D Mad Hatter in my new Bracken Corn Cob pipe from MM this morning. I also was happy to see that my new BriarWorks pipe and pipe stand were waiting for me when I went outside.

This morning it’s the Sav 320 KS and a mixture of Nightcap and an English blend from Ford & Haig which was a tobacconist in Scottsdale, AZ. I think the blend was called Cochise, but I can’t be sure. Either way, something a little stronger to help get the day going properly.

Good day all! Starting with GLP Cairo in a Savinelli Autograph flame grain Billiard with flattened shank and matching saddle stem.
Ascanian #2 in my Stanwel Silver S 85, this pipe doesn't get a lot of love but putting it back in the rotation I almost forgot how well it smokes. It was my previous Presbyterian smoking pipe, but I didn't get any ghost in it.
Just finished cutting up some tobac, having some straight Latakia Virginia Bright in my clay. It's the stuff in the tin, pretty much a sweet Oriental that smokes wonderful on its own. The other Oriental I got here has too much of a bite and needs a generous amount of sweet Virginia to be an enjoyable smoke, that's what's in the jar. A little bit of the Latakia Virginia Bright as well.
The leaves are Virginia Gold Lemon, the best looking of what I got here, selected to be sauced and processed into our Clay King @halfdan 's own royal clay pipe blend that Santa is going to bring over the pond when his time of the year is near.
