New pipe day for me ?
Cold, grey Lakeland morning so coffee and a bowl of leftovers, to break in my first ever Savinelli, in the bothy (there’s a mix of GH Black and Brown, Rum and Maple plus some St Bruno).
Last smoke of the day is D&R Raccoon’s Delight in my very reliable smooth straight WW2 Pre-Republic Peterson Sterling Canadian with a sterling silver band and a black vulcanite p-lip stem. Time to feed cats!
Finally took the Ken Byron Ventures pill and I’m glad I did. Smoking some KBV Burley Morning Pipe in a new MM cob with Vermont freehand stem. Smashing combo.
A quarter of the way through this bowl from a freshly opened first production tin (2013) of Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
40 degrees, wind howling out of the north means empty golf course to walk. Wilke Santa’s Blend in J. Everett A Christmas Carol commission (@cramptholomew)! Linus says, “no gimmes!”
Did a set of walking reps, and smoked a bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in an undated straight brush etched black Molina apple with a nickel band and a black tapered vulcanite stem.
