War horse Green in a home made, reshape in process, billiard.
I made this pipe a few years ago and about six months ago decided it needed to look like a billiard, not just claim to be a billiard. I kinda let the rework by the wayside but It's such a good smoker, and has such a capacious bowl that I smoke it anyway. I kinda like the look of it as it is; but tonight it is filled with War Horse Green.

I just finished a wonderful Saturday ZOOM, some of which Brian Levin recorded for his show on Tuesday. His theme was a Dickensian look at pipes and tobaccos, past, present and future. Be sure to listen in to the Pipes Magazine Radio Show on Tuesdays after 8:00 PM.
While ZOOMin' I smoked a bowl of Fred Hanna's Wilderness in my Castello Sea Rock KKKK 49 calabash. Great smoke and even better camaraderie.

Sutliff’s Heavy English in a Caminetto Business Bent Egg, Shape 143. (I purchased this pipe in `1974 as a gift for myself after handing in my dissertation. The pipe has excellent hand-made rustication, and the top of the stem has the characteristic thin gold mustache. It draws perfectly. A few years ago I met Luigi Radice’s son who told me that the pipe was likely one of those made by his father.)

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, wild caught catfish and snow peas dinner with a small scoop of strawberry ice cream for dessert. I'm smoking year 2014 Sutliff 1849 in a medium bend smooth dark brown 1968 Barling 5631 London England TVF billiard silver spigot with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

An observation: the Forever Stems are a remarkable addition to the Missouri Meerschaums, one of the finest smoking pipes to be had. Thanks so much for sharing your hobby with us.
