Slightly sweetish, traces of cavendish. To me, at least. It's not as bad as the name might make you think, but not in the same league as, say, Esoterica, Frigate, old 3 Nuns, or EGR, when it comes to an everyday blend.

Arango Balkan Supreme in the trusty Vauen. Not sure why, but it was a very spicy smoke tonight. Maybe I was puffing a little too hard trying to finish the bowl quickly to get inside and warm up.

Almost half way through this bowl of D&R Raccoon’s Friend in a pre-1980s straight dark brown Comoy's Sandblast 186 billiard with a black vulcanite tapered stem.

I'm smoking some Sutliff Ready Rubbed Match in an ugly sandblasted Brebbia Bulldog. I really can't get enough of this blend. It's easy to scoop, press, and light, it has nice burley flavors, and a nice chocolatey-something topping that adds to the flavor without getting in the way. I've heard people say that there are Virginias in here, but I haven't ever tasted anything but burley. I hope this one clears the deeming process.

The other day whilst exploring a neglected corner of my tobacco cellar I found an open can of McClelland Virginia Woods. Recalling that it was not a particular favorite, I mixed it with some Mac Baren Virginia No. 1. The result was delightful!

I enjoyed this mixture in a Hilson Splendid horn (No. 1571).
