Abstract
2 1 6 7: Jeantet, M. July 6, 1906, [date applied for under Patents Act, 1901]. Tobacco pipes. In order to neutralize the nicotine in the smoke, the bowl is (a) provided with a lining, or (b) the pipe may be formed completely of a porous substance, such as retort-charcoal, coke, graphite, asbestos, stoneware, etc., which is impregnated with a catalytic agent, such as reduced platinum chloride, salts of copper, nickel, paladium, irridium, etc.
