There's actually several CBG fans here.@TheIronMonkey if you weren't already on @Chasing Embers Christmas Card list, you'll definitely be now
It smooths out the Cherokee, adds flavor, and of course, nicotine. It's really cool how you are mixing Cherokee with other blends like Elizabethan. How would you describe the result? I'm guessing that just naturally it would be like a bit of both- making the Elizabethan a bit simpler and adding flavor to the Cherokee.
I did that with American Spirit RYO Pow Wow Blend and it worked great. I was mixing it with Captain Black Gold. Pow Wow Blend adds a minty flavor and Captain Black Gold adds a sweetness and a classic pipe tobacco quality that I don't get as much with the Pow Wow Blend. I'm interested in trying some Cherokee myself, but they only come in giant 16 oz bags.
That's really cool and makes sense. It smooths out the Cherokee, adds flavor, and of course, nicotine.
Welcome aboard. Just so you know, the majority of us don't mind being called "Indians".That's really cool and makes sense.
One thing that attracts me to Cherokee is that it's a Native-grown blend. I wrote a bit about some Native tobacco mixes that I tried in my introduction post here:
Greetings! I'm from PA/SC and interested in the Native American tobacco tradition (eg. mint, sage, Cherokee). :: New Member Introductions
Hello! I've come across Pipes Magazine's Forum over the last year or two, finding good information here on pipe smoking. I've also been reading and writing on Reddit, and the Speak Easy forum that some of Reddit's /pipe tobacco users belong to. When I bought cigarettes in my early college years...pipesmagazine.com
Can I please ask if you've tried other versions of Cherokee?
