Relaxing after a wonderful salad, chicken legs and green beans dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm a quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2019 C&D Yorktown in a 1979 smooth brown large briar 221-B Baker Street calabash made in Israel with a black vulcanite stem and ferrule in the military mount style. Haven't smoked this pipe in quite a while, but I used to when I watched Sherlock Holmes movies as a young fella. We're getting ready to watch a Jeremy Brett Holmes episode. I ought get that entire series some day. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.

This morning some Sutliff 507-C Navy Flake in the Vauen Olaf bent egg, This evening after turkey leftovers, Lane 1-Q in the Irish Seconds Xl339S. I'm thinking of retiring the Vauen for awhile to give it a much needed rest as I have been smoking it every day for about a year now. The same with my Savinelli 2614KS. I'm also putting away the larger pipes for the winter. This will give me an opportunity to use some of the pipes I haven't used in awhile. The question is ... which ones ??? I'll have to ponder it over the weekend and several bowls ... maybe I'll try them all and decide that way.
