Starting off my smoking day with a bowl of pre-2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Fed all the cats except for the absent Abner the Eager. Since the rain is gone, I may see him today. I had noticed that the last time Abner was here, he was lightly favoring the same paw he had hurt a while back. Hope he's doing better when I see him again.

Well folks, for the first time I must confess that I lied to yall.
After posting the previous pic with my Sportsman 87, I had about a coin’s worth of Stockton rubbed out on my vintage cellulose tobacco tray.
I decided to put that in my Donegal Rocky 701 for a first smoke and let the 87 set until later.
Flavor was much lighter than expected, but a very nice smoke. It may come alive in a larger chamber though.
I think I prefer the Stockton a nudge better than Deluxe Royal Twist (at least fresh).

Did a set of walking reps on this chilly, cloudy day, and smoked a bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in an undated straight brush etched black Molina apple with a nickel band and a tapered black vulcanite stem. There was a stand off between Tomato the Brave and Harry the Hairy as to who would get my attention every time I got near the house. I picked Tomato up, and brought him in. He's by my feet now.
