Last smoke of the day is year 2020 Angler's Dream in a 1984 Stanwell Antique 124 egg with a smooth brown front and a black sandblasted back with a dark gold ferrule and black vulcanite stem in the military mount style. Going to traffic cop feral feeding, and read with whatever's left in the bowl after that.

HU Night Owl in a Stanwell brushed pot. This is a nice tobacco. So far, the HU tobaccos I've tried haven't been earth-shattering, but they've all been quite good, and taste like they've had little, if any, added flavorings.. Almost like C&D or GLP blends if they were made in Europe with the tobaccos available in Europe. I do wish this one had a bit more nicotine.

Working up the courage to go attack the basement again. Smoking some Makhuwa with the rest of the coffee.

How is the Makhuwa? I have a tin coming in the mail, and it sounds really appealing to me.4

Now smoking Drucquer & Sons Blairgowrie in a Peterson Standard 307. For some reason, I thought this would be a milder blend, like a lighter English. It most certainly is not. It IS very well-balanced, and all of the component tobaccos make themselves known.... but this is a full-flavored blend with a very rich and creamy mouth feel. I think it's fantastic.

I enjoy it. I often sprinkle in a bit of blending latakia for variety. Like most blends I think it’s better after being opened for a few days. So Id suggest cracking the tin and putting it in a jar when you get it. Ita fine straight from the tin but a few days helps it out.
