Robert McConnell Black & Gold in a clay.
I won it in the Nottingham Pipe Show raffle.
Scored 227 points axe throwing yesterday & 146 on Saturday. Free pint of Real Ale at the Neptune & got bought one as well.
Been out for pub meal & pint today; not going anywhere tomorrow due to the yellow weather warning.
That's great Dan! What was the prize!?

Marlin Flake fell a little flat for me this evening: the weather was cold and windy, the tobacco probably wasn’t dry enough, and overall it was too bland for my taste this evening. I’ll need time to learn its ways.

This afternoon I also opened up a brick of Tabac Manil Reserve du Patron, so I packed some into a Falcon.

It was a world of difference. It had a wide range of flavor: cocoa, new sawdust (in a pleasant way), coconut, roasted parsnip. It also burned pretty quickly, crackled like a little bonfire, and finished in 10-12 minutes. I loaded a second bowl to see whether I was imagining things, but got the same variety of flavors. I’m looking forward to more of this one.

Now smoking a bowl from a freshly opened tin of year 2014 Sutliff 1849 in a medium bend smooth dark brown 1968 Barling 5631 London England TVF billiard silver spigot with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Tomato the Brave is still laying on my right foot. He moves when I get up, and when I sit back down, he puts his head back on my foot. Sleepy Suzy is still by my side. Abner the Eager is snoozin' on the couch. Daisy the Feral Princess just ate, and is laying on her blue blanket. Molly Danger is on m'lady's lap.

Earlier, I smoked a bowl of Wilke Wall Street w/o perique in a smooth light brown quarter bend 1928-1931 KBB Drinkless Kaywoodie Synchrosystem patent Rock Ambera 7209 yachtsman with a tapered rock ambera stem. And then I enjoyed some low calorie snacking. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and am near the last quarter of this bowl of Wilke No. 515 Double Shot in a smooth dark medium bend 2021 Peterson Heritage Brown POTY 4AB No. 45/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. This is No. 515 with twice the rum of the Basil Rathbone blend. Been chatting with a good friend.
