Another attempt at Goliath and Hogfather's Cabbie's Mixture, this time in a new old stock horn-stemmed Kiplay briar (no idea who made these but it has a French look to me. Any ideas, anyone?). The Cabbie's does smoke better in a cylindrical chamber, I find. I just wish I liked that much Perique but I haven't the palate for it - if Cabbie's were a curry, it would be a vindaloo. Your mileage, dear Readers, may of course vary.

I need to clean up a pipe because I think it is time to try the HU Delight with 10 or 15% Perique. Dumb me didn't note the ratios and when I jarred it. I think its been atleast 6 months. I will let you know how it goes.

I might need to rethink this. Sometimes I don’t make very good choice. I have two tins of C&D Bayou Morning to try also. Well find out how much I really like Perique. To quote William Shatner "Well thats what we will try to find out".

Nah...10 or 15 percent added to the Delight mix isnt too much. I added 10 percent and still wanted an extra sprinkle per pipe. The Torben Dansk stuff we get isnt that strong. Its sweeter vs spicy.
