I've been finding that pipes and radio go well together. Great rig, do you ever work any of the birds with that Kenwood?
Great to find a kindred spirit! Yes -- I've worked two birds with this HT and a handheld yagi. I've been jonesing over a TH-D75 but they haven't done true full duplex since the '72. Frustrating. I also have found that the two go really well together. Something about really being in the moment and letting the world pass by. Awesome. 73's.

And just want to reiterate -- this is the first poker I've owned and it smokes so wonderfully! Most of the time one wooden match is all it takes even with the aromatics.

Not far from finishing this bowl of Wilke Little Round Top in an undated straight smooth brown pre-Republic Peterson’s Sterling bulldog 150 with a sterling silver band and a black vulcanite saddle p-lip stem. Taking an extended work break, and after I feed Sleepy Suzy and Molly Danger, I'm going to clean a few pipes.
