Finding my love for pipe smoking after a long cigarette-filled hiatus. Smoked a large bowl of 3+ year old HU Khoisaan with my morning coffee (black) and was amazed by how complex and enjoyable it was. One of these bowls where you don't want it to end!

Let's hope this is the time I finally escape cigarettes, every time I stop (won't say quit yet until I've been off the cigs for at least a year...) I always think "What a STUPID way to consume tobacco".

Not far from finishing this bowl of Wilke No. 515 Double Shot in a smooth dark medium bend 2021 Peterson Heritage Brown POTY 4AB No. 45/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. This is No. 515 with twice the rum of the Basil Rathbone blend. I'll probably end my day with this smoke.

Went out with my flashlight, my reflective hoodie and my Old Pride Second loaded with a combination of Sutliff's BSOM Match and Macbaren's Golden Extra. Not too cool and didn't see much wildlife happening.
Came back in to make my whole grained breakfast of groats, buckwheat, ground flax, walnuts, dates, blueberries, ginger, salt and cinnamon.
Now puffing on a bowl of Big 'n Burley in my Morgan 2nd (I do have a 'first') using a modified vulcanite stem from my MM Shire.
Baccy's tasting really good these days!
