A third of the way through this bowl of year 2016 Newminister 400 Superior Navy Flake in a straight smooth brown year 1948 Parker Super Bruyere patent 23 88/F bulldog with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

The Clay King had a memorable smoke of Elizabethan in a clay at the 2022 Nottingham Pipe Show in memory of the departed Queen Elizabeth II. I remember being on Derby station as a child when the Royal Train passed through and the Queen waved to everyone on the platforms as she was closing the curtains.

Now smoking year 2022 unreleased Sutliff Brown Virginia Flake in a 1920s medium bend smooth dark brown BBB Umbra bulldog with a tapered black vulcanite stem with an orific bit.

HU Makhuwa in a Stanwell billiard. Another fine blend from HU. There's a sweetness from what I assume is a light topping, which gives this blend a really nice balance. For fans of burley, this one is a winner.

Not far from finishing this bowl of year 2012 Rolando’s Own in a smooth straight early ‘60s Lane era “William Conrad” Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. Going to clean a few pipes as we listen to a lecture about colonial America.
