Woke up to a real blizzard this morning. First of the year. Late posting my morning smoke. Nobody's going anywhere today. Could hardly see out the window, and got about a foot of snow, not quite cold enough to drift though. Still going at it this early afternoon. My dog wouldn't go down the steps . . . . peed on the first one. Waiting for an Amazon delivery that probably won't come. If it does, driver won't be impressed at the yellow snow. Some needed pipe cleaners in the order, too.

So I drowned my sorrows in style - my little dedicated Ropp J05 loaded with Black Frigate. A half hour of solace before taking this snap with my crippled truck in the background. (Can't be fixed. Theft and malicious damage, too expensive and extensive for me to repair. Leaving it thre with the fantasy of baiting the a..hole who stole it last winter by borrowing a leghold trap from a trapping friend of mine to get revenge. Childish but other who've been his victims are rooting me on - like most smaller places we have a good idea of who he is but can't prove it.

All this aside, had a great smoke. Also included a "first buck" trophy shot sent to me by a friend for all you nimrods who've been posting deer photos. Sometimes we need a laugh, eh?

Didn't think this deserved it's own thread so posting here.

I've been a huge fan of Stokkebye's bulk flakes; primarily LNF and Evening Flake. Oddly enough, I'm not the biggest fan of the LBF which seems to be their most desired blend. I did enjoy the LTF, but found myself not needing to order more when it was time to replenish my LNF and Evening Flake.

I never assumed it wasn't true. But, the people that said if you don't like a blend let it sit for a while and come back to it were right! I ignored my LTF long enough that one jar ended up with a year of age on it. It is the first "aged" tobacco I've ever tried. Had that satisfying "sssskktt" when I popped the lid.

Boy is it delicious! Farrr better than I remember. Has me wanting to get more of it to cellar!
