Been smoking Swiftcurrent Lake for the last couple of weeks, primarily in cobs though the Pete 122 and the Falcon have been seeing regular duty. I really enjoy this blend, the only issue it has is that it burns hot no matter which pipe or cadence. So, it is a good choice if you are having a smoke that you are going to be setting down repeatedly during the course of.
I am waiting for my recent TAD to arrive to change it up.

Did a little low calorie snacking, and have passed the half way mark of this bowl of year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a 1984 medium bend black grain etched Savinelli Non Pareil 9310 pokerish dublin with a horn ferrule and a black vulcanite flared stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Fed all the ferals, and my cats, too. Daisy the Feral Princess is the only one who wanted to stay inside. Sleepy Suzy is by my side. Molly Danger is in the bed room. Watching the replay of the Nats-Mariners game, and going to do little cleaning on a couple of David Cuneo's estate pipes.

Nice afternoon for a bowl of 2012 Gatlin-Burley in an Armellini in the sunshine while awaiting the arrival of company.

How do you get along with aged Gatlinburlier blends? I have a jar of Cherokee Cherry and Frank's Blend from about 2015 harred up. I also have each a large jar of Iwan Ries Gourmet English ad Aromatic jarred in 2011that I forgot about.

Now smoking year 2012 Virginia Spice in a 1979 brown grain etched Lane Era Charatan's Make medium bend calabash shape 483DC with a black vulcanite double comfort stem. Every time I smoke this, I notice that the condimental Connecticut shade cigar and perique are a tad stronger than when I smoked it fresh. The mellowing of the Virginias due to the aging process causes this effect. Harry the Hairy came in to eat, and wanted back out. Everybody else is snoozin' somewhere. I'm reading baseball box scores.
