Took @JimInks advice in his review of this blend and switched to a more appropriate bowl. Really enjoying this stuff! Definitely appeals to the cigar smoker in me.

Another great smoke of Blockade Runner this morning. At this rate, the tin will be gone soon!
Lost a really good friend of 34 years this morning. He gave a really good run of it at almost 92
He had no vice or I’ll towards anyone. Retired Barber and Sports Announcer here in Richmond.
I will miss talking Box Scores and his recaps of local sports and Stories of his Service in Korea.

More of the same after a quick cleanup of the pipe. 
Almost half way through this bowl of year 2024 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Fed the ferals, and am watching the Braves-Nats game.
Good morning! Peretti 52 in the little Bones poker with coffee. Been away and this morning was dreaming about having this first pipe--that I had some virginia flake and dragged it down so fast I scalded my tongue but good. What kind of @#$% dream is that!?

2024 Mac Baren Golden Blend in a '74 Dunhill 653 (3A) bruyere.
Moving on to a bowl of BF#2 in a Fikri Baki bamboo with coffee. Checking the to do list.
You have so many beautiful pipes, but this one may take the kewpie doll for elegance. Wonderful!
I've never had much success with an immediate repeat. Lots of wood on the bowl helps a bit, but . . . .

On the menu for my morning commute was a bowl of C&D Haunted Bookshop
loaded in my Grande Morez. This was the first smoke I've had in it since I opened up the stem with a drill bit by hand.
And it has made a huge difference! Doesn't feel like I'm fighting the pipe anymore. Still hangs up a little when passing a pipe cleaner, but that'll be easily corrected this weekend, if time permits.
