Last one for me tonight. I can feel the end is near, but not ready to give up quite yet. Watching a space documentary while sipping this little bowl of Ellipsis Flake in an H Ege hammer with a dram of Edradour 10yr on the side.

Definitely do NOT remember seeing this pipe. Like it, want it, and if necessary I'll steal it.

Passing the quarter mark of this bowl of year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a 1979 black sandblasted medium bend Savinelli Non Pareil 9606 Billiard with a military mount horn ferrule and black vulcanite saddle stem. A college friend of mine smoked this model, and influenced me to buy one of my own. We used to sit around smoking them and having long conversations about art since the two of us were art majors. Good times.

Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and am smoking year 2014 Dan Tobacco Hamborger Veermaster in a smooth straight brown 1950 Dunhill 48 bulldog group 4 root briar with a black vulcanite fish tail saddle stem. I was going to touch up the art on this Archie story I've been working on, but it's just too humid. I'm way ahead of deadline, so I can afford to lose a day. Just fed Daisy the Feral Princess who wasn't happy when she saw Harry the Hairy snoozin' in her comforter a few hours ago. She's by my feet now. Everybody else is outside. I'm reading baseball box scores.

Last smoke of the day is Wilke No. 515 in a smooth dark medium bend 2021 Peterson Heritage Brown POTY 4AB No. 45/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. This was the original 515 that Basil Rathbone smoked. Everybody ate except for the absent Abner the Eager. After having seen Shy Stripesy a couple of nights ago, I have a feeling that it's been coming here more than I knew. For many months, I noticed that when I open the door at night, the motion light on the side of the house comes on. I'd go over to see if any animal was there, and never saw one. I used to think that it was a possum running under the deck or across the yard. But now, I believe it's been Shy Stripesy all this time. It's probably afraid of the other ferals as well as me but the possums have not been, so I think it stays close to an escape route. As the number of ferals have grown and hung around since the last time I had seen Shy Stripesy some years back, I can see why it would practice more stealth.

Slept about five minutes, and couldn't do any more than that, so I'm up and have passed the first third of this bowl of Wilke Wall Street in a 2013 straight black sandblasted Peterson Sherlock Holmes Series Baker Street with a sterling silver band and a tapered black vulcanite fish tail stem. Reading while this bowl lasts.

Half way through this bowl of Wilke Lizzie Blood Virginia in a straight black with a burgundy undertone sandblasted early 1960s Lane era Charatan 420 billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Just fed the ferals again. Abner the Eager wasn't eager to leave "his" chair outside, but I put more food down in case he gets hungry. The food on the plate that I put down earlier was eaten. Harry the Hairy's snoozin' in Daisy the Feral Princess' comforter. She's outside.

Jeez Louise life has become busy! Hoping this day goes by quick as I’ve got tomorrow off for a long weekend at a buddies cabin up North with other close friends. I’m excited to run some shot shells through a Beretta A300 Ultima I picked up for clay shooting. I haven’t shot clays since I was in middle school but it’s always been a sport I’ve wanted to get in to. It just so happened that finances lined up and decided to pull the trigger so to speak haha. Anyways im moving through the morning with a bowl if PS LNF in a Cob with a hot cup of coffee ☕IMG_3896.jpeg
