Good for you on the coffee! My favorite new coffee is a local organic caramel flavored coffee, which I take black, but the wife gives me grief, claiming manly men don’t drink flavored coffee, even black. I tell her manly men are secure enough in their manhood to drink flavored coffee and not care what she thinks, lol.
Hahaha, Hear, hear! Couldn't agree more. I initially bought this coffee for my wife but I think I've been enjoying it more than her 😅

@PaulRVA That is a beautiful pipe.

@telescopes Love the hat and pipe combo.

On the menu for my first smoke of the day is a half of a bowl of GH&Co Dark Plug loaded in my Falcon with a billiard meer and paired with a lightly flavored vanilla coffee.

Hope you all have a great Wednesday!

Half way through this bowl of year 2024 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Fed all the cats. Watching the Orioles-Twins game.

Pre-posting my evening smoke, cuz I'm off to the range in about 30. This one will happen as the bite and taste problems have diminished to where I'll be able to break the fast, so it were.

Over the past two days my pipe'n'tobacco birthday presents to myself have arrived (except for the Rhodesian meer, due Friday), and I'm about as ready to go as I'll ever be, because the infamous and ugly break-in procedures will be in effect beginning tomorrow, which will probably put me back to ground zero.

On deck for this evening is a new-to-me tobacco, Savinelli 140th Anniversary, and the newly dedicated pipe to genre Oriental, aro and codger blends, in the most versatile pipe i have, the Ropp J07. As those of you who own this gem know, it is also a truly wonderful smoker, a real workhorse.

Will post tomorrow morning's inevitable smoke late tonight, if that makes any sense at all.

Packing up now. Have yourself a great Wednesday. 👍👍puffy

Since there was a break in the rain, I thought I'd get a set of walking reps in, but right after I left the driveway, it came back, so I'm back in. I'm a third of the way through this bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in a slight bent black pattern etched 1977 Lorenzo Lorsan Sigma level top billiard with a gray swirl acrylic saddle stem. Tomato the Brave was walking down the driveway with me, and when I turned to go back to the house, he galloped ahead me because he wanted out of the rain, too. Smart fella... well, once in a while. :)

While waiting for lunch, I had a regular size bowl of Raisin Bran with extra raisins and some unsalted peanuts. Lunch was eight freshly made quesadillas with a small bowl of vanilla bean ice cream for dessert. I'm almost a third of the way through this bowl of year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Gold Star Jamaican Estate Reserve, neat, is my drink. The sun came out, and then a thunderstorm showed up, so no walks for me today. Daisy the Feral Princess came in because she has more sense than to be outside during a thunderstorm than the other three ferals. She's laying by my feet. Going to clean a few pipes soon.

Just got back from a few days in Seattle: part business, part pleasure. It's always nice to get back to the smoking lounge variety and the briars after time travelling with a short selection of tins and meers. Kicking back for a few with a bowl of Virginia Oriental Flake in a Radice Pure after a few errands in town.

Was able to swing by my mom's yesterday and finish up the lighthouse installation for part of her garden decore which i started for Mother's Day. Had to strip the forms and place the "sea wall" rock around the base. Still needs a couple clear coats for longevity out in the elements, but turned out well. She's mentioned wanting something like this ever since i built her the house in 2023.
