A quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2013 Capstan Blue Flake in a smooth dark brown post-WWII Comoy’s Grand Slam 340 patent billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Abner the Eager was laying on the doormat, so I brought him in to eat, and now he's snoozin' on the couch. Can't remember the last time I saw Abner this hungry.

Ryback+P in the Briarlee for breakfast, now having C&D Exhausted Rooster in a J11P. This blend’s jar may adorn the shelf for a while, then be revisited (or forgotten).

@SmokingInTheWind-awesome, it’s my favorite “bang for the buck” blend. I’ve only done TS-20, I’ll be curious how that compares w/the C&D Granulated…

I’m smoking it again as I type this. Found out tonight that I can’t retrohale this blend. 😅
I’m curious too. I might buy some other brands and give it a try, but I am happy with the C&D. Pipes and Cigars has it in bulk but doesn’t specify what brand. I noticed @BlueRidge purchased a Ryback +P starter kit on a recent TAD post, with both brands of perique. Let us know if you have a preference.

Now smoking Wilke Surbrug’s Golden Sceptre in a late 40s, early 50s straight black sandblasted Wagner British Thorn 495 (Comoy’s second) pot with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Going to finish this Archie story tonight, and fill in the black areas. I'll touch up pages tomorrow. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Working and listening to The Lone Ranger from my radio collection.

Did a little low calorie snacking, and am smoking Wilke No. 72 in a pre-1974 dark brown straight Larus & Brother Co. Signature billiard with a nickel band and a tapered black vulcanite stem with the initials LCR on the top of the stem. This blend was smoked by Walter Cronkite. Going to fill in black areas on the Archie pages now. Molly Danger came out to keep us company because no ferals were inside. She's hungry for attention, which she got from both of us. Sleepy Suzy watched and was so interested in the proceedings that she went to sleep.

Now smoking the last of this tub of year 2020 D&R Raccoon’s Delight in my very reliable smooth straight post-1938 pre-Republic Peterson Sterling Canadian 263 with a sterling silver band and a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. I'll revisit the blend one of these days. The next Raccoon blend I open will be Raccoon's Accent. The pages are drying, so I've the rest of the night off.
