Ive been hanging out in Italy. No pipe for a couple of days but I brought one. I grabbed a pack of smokes and was quickly reminded that cigarettes suck and are not the least bit relaxing.

Whoops! Have to make a correction here, cuz I was too late to edit my last post a page or two back. And those of you who are target shooters will puzzle at this:
I shot the bottom group first, and no, it's not larger, but I made a slight one click sight adjustment on the scope. I wanted the group about 2-3mm to the right of the dot, because I'm a left hand shooter and will tend to pull the group to the left minutely if I don't follow through on my trigger pull.
It should read (correction in bold):

Very nice cob indeed. Is that stem the way it comes, or an interchangeable one that fits the brand? I like it.

Two dollars sixty years ago would buy a whole lot of toys.
No balsa wood airplane or sack full of army men or cap gun or squirt pistol or kite or water propelled rocket was even half as much fun as a geniune Pre 54 ancient, oil cured, aged, unvarnished, unstained, and unpainted Algerian briar pipe and especially one that was from 27 West 24th Street New York City by Bob and Helen Marx.
This one full of Buoy Gold about has to be a $7.50 grade Deluxe marked 14K RGP on the band.
But even the ugliest, gnarly ones are gooderns anyways, you know?
It was only $20 which is like $2 was then, more or less.

Loving the weather up here lately. Knocking out the outside stuff feels good with a pipe and some sunshine. Back in the lounge to load up a bowl of 1792 in an M Cinar, then back out to enjoy the starlight.

After reading @Skippy Piper ‘s latest review, I got a hankering for some Kendal. The new bowl developed a kind of plastic or artificial smell after the first few bowls, and I’ve wanted to try some strong tobacco to flush it out, so I had good inspiration with his review.
