Relaxing after a wonderful salad, roasted turkey and roasted, sliced parmesan cheese topped potatoes with a bowl of freshly made chocolate pudding for dessert. I'm at the first third of this bowl of year 2012 Esoterica Dunbar in a smooth straight, dark brown 1960s Lane era Charatan Selected 43 Dublin with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. A little while ago Harry the Hairy woke up from a long snooze, and came in to the den. He wanted to get on m'lady's lap, but Molly Danger was there. She shrieked and hissed at Harry, and chased him under the bed. I picked Molly up and held her until she calmed down a bit. Then, she saw Daisy the Feral Princess and hissed her, but I made sure nothing happened. It's weird how Harry much of a bully Harry used to be, but after being neutered and socialized by us, he's become meeker, and backs off the other cats. Not totally though, because he'll still intimidate Abner the Eager when possible.
Loving this rain... puts me in a decidedly Anglican mood. Although I'm not fully pedigree'd haha...
Got the tea and the *style* of blend down... but the manufacturer is local and the pipe from the French... Hopefully I get extra points for having Harry Potter on, at least

Today was a very special day! The stock portfolio I recently received as a gift from my late maternal grandfather (did not smoke a pipe, unfortunately) got reallocated today, just in time IMHO (picture a pin popping a bubble, and you'll know what I mean!). An old friend came over to visit today, which just made the celebration that much sweeter. OGS in a Stefano Santambrogio Rhodesian, with a glass of white wine....and a perfect 10 out of 10, for only the 3rd time ever. 
Bird report: California scrub-jay, House finch, California towhee, California quail, Steller's jay, American crow, Oak titmouse, Mountain chickadee, Mourning dove, Hairy woodpecker, Western bluebird, Spotted towhee, and Northern flicker.

Now smoking first production Watch City American Cut Plug Mixture in a smooth medium bend terracotta Peterson POY 2023 X160 464/1100 military mount egg with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. The Braves-Reds game is tied in the 11th inning.
