Half-bowl of Mac Baren Plumcake in a Barling sandblasted egg after doing a fair bit of post-storm ground repair in the mustang's paddock. The chamber of this pipe gives the Marianas Trench a run for its money--a full bowl could probably last me over two hours if I had the patience (and that's a big "if"). 8/10

Bird report: California quail, California scrub-jay, House finch, California towhee, American crow, Mourning dove, Mountain chickadee, and Western bluebird.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, haddock and snow peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm smoking first production Seattle Pipe Club Hogshead in a well appreciated medium bend, smooth brown 1950s Peterson 999 Dublin chubby Rhodesian with a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. Cleaned the pipes that I smoked today, and the cats are all quiet.
