Another nearly ideal day here; sat in back and smoked a bowl of Black Mallory in a Dunhill Redbark LB (1972). Unfortunately the sunlight turned the stem brown and had to get out the magic eraser when done. Guess I'll have to use my Italian and Ashton pipes with their lucite stems when the sun is out.
One more bowl going as i pack up a few pipes and travel supplies to head over and visit my mom this weekend.
Dockworker in a Kevin Arthur nose warmer...keeping the hands free.
About a third of a bowl left of year 2024 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Fed all the cats except for Tomato the Brave who wanted out as soon as he heard me come down the hall. He'll be back soon to eat. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
Couple days ago (with no phone or computer) had the last of 2020 Cringle Flake in a Pete House pipe. Now a simple bowl of Fr. Dempsey in a Pete Aran. Enjoy the day everyone.
Wilke #5 in the MM Mark Twain. This blend is not too heavy on latakia, but you know it’s there. I got burnt out on the heavier latakia blends, but enjoy this on occasion.
Did a set of walking reps, and am close to finishing this bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in a slight bent black pattern etched 1977 Lorenzo Lorsan Sigma level top billiard with a gray swirl acrylic saddle stem. Lunch follows his smoke. Watching the Orioles-Royals game.
Loading up some more Two Flakes in a 1905 Barling. I like how the years have made this a super easy mild smoke. No idea what it was like originally, but it’s akin to Dunhill Flake.
Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am smoking year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Gold Star 50th, neat, is my drink.
It’s my turn to have this flu that our daughter brought home. It fortunately seems to just be a bad cold for me and my wife as opposed to the multiple days of a fever that our daughter had. No pipes for me but I’m enjoying the posts, fellas.
