Good evening.
Grasmere (fresh) in a falcon with a horn stem.
That’s not quite true. It was originally a white stem, that had badly discoloured over the years. No amount of sandpapering or micro meshing could bring it back to life. So I’m left with what people mistakenly call a ‘dirty looking’ stem. I prefer to call it a ‘faux horn’ one. Lol
Sitting on my deck smoking Capstan Blue flake in a GBD Pedigree I, large bulldog, and enjoying a large cup of Ahmed English breakfast tea. It is supposed to be hot here today, but it's very pleasant this morning. A great way to start the day!
Having Esoterica Margate in a Savinelli Series III Author 320 KS in Montreal. I don’t think Blatter & Blatter is in the cards this trip. We’re being held hostage by two dangerous marauders armed with bubble guns.
Been litter picking again today; got 2 bags of rubbish and given a can of cider to drink. Not buying any more packeted crisps, chocolate etc to save money and improve my health. Nearly smoked all my pipe baccy again...
Kramer's Father Dempsey in a Kai Nielsen WW sandblast chimney. Reminiscing back when Kramer's was still in business on little Santa Monica Boulevard in Beverly Hills.
Enjoyed a tall stack of cinnamon raisin French toast with a golden delicious apple and unsalted peanuts on the side. Just fnished smoking 1960s Philip Morris Revelation in a mid-1970s smooth brown medium bend Ed Burak Connoisseur bulldog with an acrylic black saddle stem. Have enough left for a smaller bowl. Gold Star Nightwish, neat, is my drink. Watched the Yankees make a big comeback against the Rays before turning to the Braves-Jays game.
Ascorti Business estate pipe I picked up ~30 years ago. Still smoking through my first ever tin of tobacco - Country Squire 50th Anniversary picked up at the Chicago Pipe Show a couple weeks ago.
