Passing the half way mark on this bowl of year 2016 Sutliff 507-C Slices in a black sandblast PSB medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY 4AB No. 228/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Been cleaning a couple of new-to-me estate pipes. More are coming! Tomorrow with any luck. 
I stopped by Diebel’s in KC today and bought (among other things) some Twist tobacco. I’m approx. 100% sure it is bulk Peter Stokkebye Luxury Twist but it smells great so I’m going to load up the Ardor Beehive and give it a go.

I like the dragon claw clays; never owned one but saw one in the tobacconists in Buxton. Perfect for smoking dragonweed!
@JimRoseLV I'm currently smoking some Full Virginia Flake in a Pollock clay; I think Gawith tobacco is very well suited to clay pipes. Smoked all my Coniston Cut Plug now - Man it went down well!

Peterson Sherlock Holmes in a Savinelli Porto Cervo 122 rusticated bent pot. Dried to a crisp of course, as is such with all my VAs. Wifey is out riding the mustang, so I knocked out a bit of corral maintenance--water trough refill, mucking etc. Being done with work is a great feeling, but paired with a pipe at the end of a workweek...it's just that much better. Enjoying a small glass of Johnnie Walker red on the rocks, and having a good contemplative sit.
Bird report: California scrub-jay, California towhee, Common raven, Hairy woodpecker, Eurasian collared dove, Mountain chickadee, White-breasted nuthatch, and California kingbird (go to town on those insects, please!).

Peter Stokkebye 83 Amsterdam blend in a new MM Zenon Trudeau hardwood apple with a forest green stem. Zenon Treadeau was the lieutenant gov. of the territory that included what later became the State of Missouri, since Missouri is the home place of Missouri Meerschaum pipes. It's a historical homage. It's a good smoker, and I think the draw will open up when I remove the filter.
