Let's try to be super descriptive this time. Ahem.
Byzantium from a tin that the label fell off of, in a 2-ish inch deep, inch-ish wide, straight Altinok billiard with silver band and a sealed crack, while admiring a rock and wondering if the flower seeds I planted near it will ever sprout or they were eaten by birds.PXL_20230522_192848058.jpg

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am close to finishing this bowl of year 2012 E-soterica Dunbar in a smooth straight, dark brown early 1960s Lane era Charatan Selected 43 Dublin with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad. Lavazza Classico, neat, is my drink.

Just have to thank you once again for your pipe reviews. Being relatively new to the community, I didn't know them, but I do now! Always very helpful. Very nice pipe too!

Just back from two weeks in Italy - Milano, Monterosso al mare, Lucca, Firenze, Siena & Roma. Nostalgic sadness for what is now over and for tobacco that will be hard to come across again in North America. "Tis better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all," keeps coming to mind.
Smoking some Comune in a Mastro Geppetto and waiting for the right moment to break in my new Radice from Milano.20230522_153911.jpg20230520_084624.jpg
