In a 1897 Loewe Bent Billiard with a tapered stem, orific bit (upper of the 2 pipes in the photo. The 2nd is another Loewe, from 1921)

Going to have Esoterica Penzance (2021) in a Colossus Pipe Factory Meerschaum Bulldog with an amber stem, circa early 1900s–1920s.

Just finished smoking 2019 Prince Albert in a straight smooth walnut 1927 KBB Kaywoodie Drinkless 86 dublin with a tapered black vulcanite stem. This model was only made in 1927.

Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and am not far from finishing this bowl of C&D Derringer in a straight smooth brown 1920s (Comoy’s) Lions Head 399 Canadian with a tapered black vulcanite stem.

Finished work for the day, and am passing the first third of this bowl of Pfeifen Huber Virginia Golden Flake in a 1938 smooth straight brown patent Dunhill R 115 bowling ball apple with a tapered cumberland stem. Going to do a little estate pipe cleaning.

Half way through this bowl of Watch City Queequeg’s Moby Dick Series in a medium bend black sandblasted IPSD 2016 Mark Tinsky book keeper 5 with a square shank and a black acrylic saddle stem with a cream colored accent. Still have lots of things to do.

Lucky to find this Stanwell Pipe of the year 1992. a sand and rongblasted Hexagon with sterling silver ring on the bowl top and a ring on the stem, ebonite mouthpiece, 9 mm Filter. In addition a pipe bag buffalo nubuk calf, all in all for 10 bucks in my junk-shop.

I cleaned up the internals of that new/ old hexagonal Stanwell, scraped of parts of the cake for a first smoke with HH Burley Flake. It came with a cute golden tamper and knife. Perfect smoker so far. Also Stanwell knew how to make pipes.



I am not shure if this is a pipe of the year, could not find it in the list of PotY. Any thoughts on that?
