A third of a bowl left of AcesFour’s VaBur in the third pipe I ever bought ($1.95), a 1974 smooth straight French briar Hadley NEBPC apple with a tapered black vulcanite stem. If there ever was a cheap pipe made for burley, this is the one. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

GLP Barbary Coast, courtesy of Forums member Elric, in a Caminetto bent rusticated Hawkbill thanks to bayareabriar. These guys rained down much pipe abundance on me, arriving in the last day or two, described in a separate post. Many thanks to them both.

On another forum, we are paying tribute to the late Doug Erwin, and I am smoking his tobacco of choice in a cob he made: year 2012 Carter Hall in a 2013 quarter bend 5th Avenue Doug Erwin nose warmer cob with a black vulcanite saddle stem. RIP, Doug. You did a lot of good, hard work for the betterment of your fellow pipe smokers.
